Hey I really wanted a Ztt,but after selling some stuff I thought i would get about 15 grand for I only have ten,not nearly enough huh?I was wanting a rock stock Ztt preferably 2 seater in auto(so gf can drive it too) I also have an LTD i could trade in i I bought one at the dealers.There is a silver one going for 14990 at dealers and i was gonna try haggle the ltd + 10 cash. This one is in silver has been serviced every 5000ks and new hoses and shit(not sure about 100k service)its done 137,000ks any advice frm experienced zedders would be much appreciated!cheers
from a dealership you can probably be fairly sure the car has been thoroughly checked over and will come with a warranty. seems like a fair price to me. the main problem is that people go out there and try get the cheapest Z they can lay eyes on, and normally there is a good reason for it being so cheap. extra money spent on purchase will usually pay for itself in the future
one year warranty aswell! hey that silver one i was talking about has a 1 yr warranty(the guy just rang me)i told him hey i have 10 plus a 1990 LTD and hes all ok well see what we can do,reckons there is young people wanting it and they asked if it was a demo model!lol18 yr old demo model haha...what u reckon..gonna go down there on tuesday.
Good luck finding a real stock zed, and if you do find one, another 5k or more may be necessary, depending on year and mileage. My advice is don?t settle on anything other than what your after, keep saving and get yourself a good "stock" one, buy a lemon and its gunna cost ya.

the trouble issss... i just sold a car on ebay and picked up 12 grand for it,now i know u guys know how ebay works and when u bid u win u buy right?all the people that bid up to 11 grand contacted me,saw the car,test drove the car but they didnt win it cos this other guy bid above them and won it at 12 thats all good and im impressed and shit but then he rings me and starts asking questions about the car,and i i have receipts of work done and all sorts,im likeummm hey dude,,you ucking BOUGHT the car!u WON it cos u WON the auction..its not MY problem u didnt come see it or anything,everyone else did!and they only lost out by 1-500 dollars,this is my Z money!so ill be REAL pissed i this guy jerks me around,what do u guys think?
IMHO, you have a second car so get your self sorted with the car you just sold first, then start to look into 300zx. Have you taken into considering insurance prices in whether you can afford it or not. The one you have pictured looks fairly tidy. Get a Z'r to go test drive and give it a once over. Calling wheel police though....

and do not put too much faith in the warranty .. bet you it will be one of those covers that dealers buy, outside, for about $3-400 and is full of every possible exclusion .. such as ".... fair wear and tear not covered .." which is then used to eclude every damn thing/claim possible ... .. just ask to have a full copy of the warranty papers .. and read the small print .. CLOSELY ....!!!!
Zed wheels are directional, they are made in a lefthand and righthand style and the front wheels are on the wrong sides. If they have directional tyres then they will need to be removed and swapped over. If that is the case get the dealer to do it before you buy it.
