One piece tail shaft, Inland Empire any good?

Is it wise to get a one piece tailshaft from overseas (CZP, Inland Empire steel shaft) or better to get one locally made up just incase for warrenty purposes if it goes off balance?

Shipping costs ($340) vs locally made ($350) is about the same price anyways.

If I grab one from CZP of course can have the bonus of order other small bits and pieces without affecting shipping that much.

Anyone can vouch for Inland Empire quality? I guess it would be a PITA if anything went wrong with the shaft coming from so far..

    My car is a NA

    cheers all!

If the cost is the same, why on earth would you not want to support local industry ? Sending money out of the country just makes us all poorer

The only problem I have with going through Jeff is he can't install the tail-shaft himself. you will need to remove your tail-shaft and then transport it to Jeff who then will make a one piece from the old stock tail-shaft. I know he will provide a quality job but as my Z is a DD its a bit to hard to do all the running around just for a tail-shaft.
