Brought this a while ago as an impulse buy at Games World, it is a 1/24 scale plastic model ready to assemble and paint, never made the timeas gathered enough motivation to get stuck in so I figure one of the members here might be more willing Comes with the paint and brush included. Paid $60 back then, so asking for $45 plus postage or pickup from Pakenham (SE Melbourne). Picture is below:
Rest easy Brocky. I used to be a prolific model builder (especially 1:12 scale 57 chevs), not be happy with the detail level of drivetrain components so make my own from billet alloy (pistons, cyl heads and blocks, superchargers, bug catcher injection, also spark plug wires, fuel lines, alloy firewall and dash. Then drop the suspension by 6 scale inches Chop top and targa the roof panel, remodel the headlight surrounds to angle rearward and lots of other little pedantic/obsessive things.
Quite a lot of detail. The detail in the centre console is pretty cool, you can make out the ashtray. And you can even make out the cruise buttons on the steering wheel. That said, there is no engine compartment. Lol. Up to you! If no-one grabs it I'll probably have a crack myself as I used to be big into Warhammer models, and won some awards for some pieces. if someone grabs it they have to promise to upload some piccies of the finished product. if I had the motivation I'd have a go at this
OK. I see. No engine bay or opening bonnet so I cant even build an engine so a bit too basic, so I'll pass. Thanks anyway. Looks like a nice buy for someone a bit less "obzessive" than me.
I was going to say its not a good jan as its only a LHD model. However it has both LHD and RHD dash's from the looks of it.
I've got this kit at home. Not bad, and it's a slicktop. Most kits are Targas. Mark, you want the Tamiya kit, much more detail and waaayyyy more accurate. Has a opening bonnet too.
is it the 94 spec spoiler? it looks as it has early and mid in the kit? can you confirm? if so ill take it!
I'd say it i as pictured Madcow, looks like the 94 spoiler is part of the kit. Doesn't look like the early model lip spoiler is part of it, the piece above the 94 spoiler in the plastic mould is part of the front bar I think. Stufarmy has showed interested via PM so if he backs out, you're next in line
