Because im not after a ferrari

and I think he is under estimating the performance of the NSX, if I just took people blindly at their word then I would rush into any decision, the fact that either of those cars are worth 4 times more than the Z (of the same or older age).I am not disputing his opinions, he finds the 328 a better car all around, thats fine, but his opinions are disputed by numerous track tests and reports, all I did is counter an opinion with fact which is where I base most of my decisions, and the fact of the matter is, Im not in the market for a ferrari, and I diddent ask any questions about one, and I did thank him for his opinion.Your a nice guy chili and very intelligent, but Im getting tired of it always seeming to be you I have to explain myself to, your on my case more than anyone, its been said by many that you dislike me, fine I dont mind, but in that case just leave my posts alone, if mrZee finds Ive offended him in anyway he's a big boy and can defend himself, but I wasn't rude to him in any way, and I thanked him for his opinion.

You like to deal in fact not opinion, right?

Well Zac, I have never said that I dislike you, and at this point in time, I doubt that I ever will. That is a FACT from me!
I have been critical of you on some occasions, but that doesn't constitute "dislike", rather "disagreement".

The "many", who say I don't like you, are giving you an opinion, and it is NON-FACTUAL and based on supposition, so disregard it entirely.:D
MrZee was giving you the benefit of his FACTUAL experiences, NOT his considered opinion.

Cheers mate, have a good Easter

    Well Im glad thats settled

good to hear im not in your bad books, I know there is a bit of a generation gap between us, I probably come off sounding immature at times, but I assure you its only because I never have been the literary type :-0 I know Mrzee's information is factual, but its still opinion from a person a little bias towards the 328 (note his email address :p ) we are that way about our zeds, if John pellington had gone into the skyline forum saying that his Z would kick modded GTR butt around the track, he would have been laughed out as it would have been opinion from a Z fanatic, but since he had done the runs and proven himself, he had the facts to back it up, so people listened.Im sure the 328 is a more than capable car with similar power to the NSX, but on paper and side by side tests it dosen't compete, even against the much newer and more powerful 348 (which it was built to compete with) it still laps faster with only a .1 sec difference to 100K's, this is a very interesting read if you have the time:
Click HereMost important to understand though is in no way was I disrespecting mrzee, and his opinion was listened to, I started researching the 328 the minute he suggested it, but found it not to my liking, even if it was on par for performance the styling isn't my cup o tea =) (read: interior styling). Its good that people were wrong about you disliking me, glad we can put that behind us and clear the air :YD >D< >D< 8D I Hope you and your family have a great Easter too, dont pig out on too much chocolate ) ;) :D

I have to agree with Blade83 on this one.

From everything I have seen about Ferraris I would not put the 328 in the same performance category as the NSX, even the 348 would struggle to compete. There have been some quite comprehensive reviews of the NSX compared to the 355 which show them to be almost on par with each other in performance and handling with very similar characteristics.I personally do not mind the 328 and in its day it was certainly a performance vehicle but now, 19 years later its performance is what can only be called mediocre.
In all honesty if I were considering a Ferrari I would pay the little bit extra to get the 348 over the 328. As for comparing cars that you have owned, I use to have an Alfa Romeo that when I drove it I thought it was awesome, I use to drag 253 and 308 V8's, race through corners and drive it hard thinking it was an amazing performance vehicle. After getting the Zed I found it was also and amazing performance vehicle. It was not until I lined up one of the Alfa's in my Zed that I saw just how much faster the 300ZX was,. The difference was so great I wouldn't have even called it a race.
Unless you can compare the two side by side in a controlled environment, personal emotion, sentiment, preference and bias will play a major factor in which one you will deem as being the superior.Personally I like the prestige of Ferrari but I also like the look and performance of the NSX, it would be a hard call, if I choose the 328 It would not be a decision based on performance.

    Egg ....

    I know a guy...

...in the states that had one. Sold it and bought a Z. What's it cost to convert from left hand drive? They're not much more money then a Z in the USA!
Buy a taxi, Zac. Or something like a Lancer or Pulsar for A to B. :) or something like a 4 door auto turbo Skyline and leave it bog stock. $12k with low mileage landed!
