i'ver just got my street to strip gauge holder and am going to be putting in oil temp, water temp and boost gauge, and i know the water gauge should sit somewhere around 80oC, one of the guys at the local autobahn said the oil temp should sit somewhere around the same temp, is this true? or what should i expect to see as the normal oil temp in my 300?

    ~100C is about right

The oil need to be hot enough to vaporise any moisture, fuel etc that gets in the engine.
