Just wondering what people use when thier Oil Pressure Sender Unit bites the dust, I've read the Tech article and the VDO unit mentioned is a little hard to get and apparently only powers the Gauge not the safety light (so i've been told), Does anyone have any alternatives.

I think in a previous thread they have established unless you have an aftermarket oil pressure gauge there wont be a low pressure warning light. Some of the time all it needs is to be pulled out and cleaned up a little bit, im almost sure its been covered before on how to go about it :)

I just bought a brand new one from COZ when mine died. Easy as to change but you need a 10mm spanner with the handle sawn off. You can try to clean the old one with a sewing needle in the hole, but didn't work so great for me.

    Thanks guys,
I'll give COZ a try, I'd rather use a new unit if I can get one.
