Great cruise guys and girls. Just the right distance for us to aquaint ourselves with our new zed. I'm happy to report that all went well except a bit of a cylinder miss I need to track down. Oh, and a pod filter and cat back exhaust will help me to keep up with leadfoots Red Turtle Z and Nasty Girl (should be Crazy Girl!). Nice driving ladies:D

Good to see some new faces. Kiz seemed to enjoy himself in his beautiful orange/red zed. Didn't even want to stop for traffic coming the other way over a one-way bridge. Rubber tyres skidding on wooden bridges make lots of smoke lol.

Thanks for setting this up K-zed. We appreciated the warm welcome back into the fold.

    Anyone got pics??

Pics are better than your driving Cam :p ... you were always sideways in my RV mirror ;)

Hopefully Ash got home ok which is more than Neil (Cove) & Sharon managed. Tranny failure saw their Zed transported back to Gold Coast on tilt-tray and now I have house-guests.

Was a great day for driving although a few wanted to defect to another cruise half way when the Lambo, Audi R8 and a whole heap of Lotus's flew past the Valley View Cafe.

Despite Jimbo's being listed on the net, it no longer exists so we had some fun in Tweed going round in circles until a Fish'n Chip cafe on the river was found. All was good, except for Cove's breakdown, and lunch went down well.

Thanks to all 12 Zedders who made it it a fun day. :zlove:

    Looks like a great day

You guys are having all the fun. Can't wait to get back in my zed. Buying some cheap goodies to bring home at the moment. Good to see the zedders looking after each other.

Waahahaha yeah, we nearly had a mutant red/orange/yellow/veilside creature created when I nearly kissed poor Pex's Zed on that bridge...
    1) Thank goodness I got my brakes working before the cruise
    2) Time to figure out why the ABS doesn't work....

Only downside is now the auto tranny is slipping... when it gets warm... noticed it on the Numinbah-Tweed Heads leg :( and again on the way home. Time to change fluids me thinks.

Teegan and I had a ball, one of the best weekends we've had in a long time... thanks everyone! :D

Cove Getting to be an old fart

A BIG thanks and yes I am shouting

to a number of people, the reception committee at Fates  arriving on the back of a tow truck is not the way but thanks fella's  , Shaun (Fate) for over night storage of the Zed  , and to Rob for the overnight accomodation and the running around on monday morning helping to sort out the issues  it is fantastic to be associated with a group of people who are willing to assist when the chips are down. Without your help Rob it would have been a lot harder, Thanks from Sharyn and myself it was greatly appreciated.

    Numinbah Fun Run...

Beautiful day both in the sky and on the roads.

    Weather was perfect for it!

Another fabulous drive through the mountain roads with plenty of Twisties... lots of fun had by all. I know I enjoyed myself especially :D

Car feels so different with a PSA. Bit more effort needed to throw her safely up the mountains ;).

Shame bout the fuel leak, but thankfully easily fixed. Not so lucky with Cove's car. But that too is now seeing A Dr.

Shame the eurotic's pulled over at the next stop... would have been an even better drive through the mountains close on their tail I will just have to use my imagination now. :(

Thanks to all for great company and another great drive.

    Fate

good to hear that things are under control, Cove ....

that does not forgive, however, the fact that somehow we lost you and were not there to assist with the initial breakdown ... apologies to you both for that .. a bad cruise oversight/collapse of procedure ....

AND KIZ; you have no idea how much smoke you put up with that heavy breaking exercise ... somewhat spectacular from the back of the field .. lol... it did look very close to the bridge ... lol....
