I knew that using the wrong name would force you to make an involuntary admission of guilt.:br:
I knew it wasn't you(by the girlish screams)I just wanted to force Martin to fess-up.:zlove::rofl::br:
Was nice meeting up with you guys, even though me, george and michael had left early, looking forward to the cruise to kiama guys! Nem.
Thanks Mike, was an enjoyable day like always, Good to see so many Z's and meet all the newbies.... Looking forward to the next cruise/meet :zlove:iggy
Thanks to Luke for pretty much doing the whole suspension job on my car. What a hero. I Learnt a lot. Suspension isnt so scary anymore Achieved 1/10 tasks i had set out for the day. But one will do. well... kind of achieved it. Plan was to lower the car by replacing stock with king spring lows. Result was the car raised 1cm or so newer+ adjustable parts = still a win. I guess ill have to stick with the zed 20 odd years for the king springs to sag as well and make my investment worthwhile Wont make the cruise unfortunately but see you all at the meet following that.
Just want to say a huge thanks to Joe and Mitch for all the help getting my car naked so I could finally fix the door problem. Pretty convenient having someone (Marcus) there with the same problem - all we needed to do was rinse and repeat. Couldn't have done it without you guys! So happy :zlove: good day indeed.
Great day guys! Had a blast watching everyone help out with problems and suss out issues...Thanks for all the help I got from everyone too...although almost thought I had a big issue...on the way home had a mad backfire going on sussed it out as the CAS connector that was previously loose haha oh well time to replace that... Was nice to meet some familiar and some new faces...Can't wait for the next meetup
Apologies to Mikey5555 and his Dad whom I forgot to thank above... without the loan of the best cooler box I've ever seen and supply of ice we would have been in the proverbial!! Thanks Mike and Dad! Also for the loan of the extra frypan which allowed us to keep with a good supply of onions for the hungry hoards. How the heck that cooler fit into a Zed I'm blowed if I know, but it was sure appreciated.
This was my first tech day & gotta say, I was impressed with all the work that was being carried out - I'm sure it saved the owners a fair bit of cash as opposed to getting it done at a work shop. Scored my self an air con compressor for $5 - thanks to INGITE (Ignite) Was nice to meet a lot of members for the first time also - very polite, welcoming & helpful - I look forward to the cruise on the 20th of Feb. Cheers Sav
Haha 2+2 ingenuity And you're very welcome And Arvin where are the pics you took with your camera!!! post them up ASAP
Fix'd The resemblance is uncanny... Whos car had the pedobear sticker in the rear window? That sticker rocks... by at least 15kW
Hahaha... that rocks (to quote you young'uns)! So, you're not just handy around Zeds, eh Mitch? Mate, you guys were just so welcome with the jobs you did.... thanks!
Cheers, were they your blue struts and springs we tried to fit? I have a feeling I tried to put the lower spring perch on upside down... And thanks for a great venue for the day Mike
happy snaps... the lubricant was finished first... we all should love our cars... so that we don't get attacked!!! Mikey, I think something's installed upside down?! we got gills... Enjoy! Arvin :zlove:
