I have a set of OEM 16 rims with no tyres, and will have a set of 17-7 rims with 80% rubber (Bridgestone G3 & S3) that I will no longer be requiring ... any persons interested?

Tak rims ... EOI because still on car

These RIMS are TAK 17x7 (all four)
    Tyres are Bridgestone G3 and S3 235/45/17

I have not set a price because they are still on the car and I don't have the car back from the smash repairer yet . . . these rims were not damaged other then the clear coat having come off in a couple of spots ... no photos of this area yet because I don't have the car at the moment.

Hence the EOI expression of interest is because can not make a deal today or probably for a month.

Secondly the OEM 16 rims have been in storage since mid 2001, the TAK have been on the car since then

.. steven .. what the lads are saying is that forum guidelines require a price if the item is intended for sale on the forum ...

where an "EOI" stands in all this ..??? .. i do not know ....

    I know this is not ebay . . .

I know this is not ebay . . . what i was attempting to do was determine how much interest there was in either of the OEM rims and the TAK rims.

It will be a month or two before they are available for sale. So if no one was interested then I would advertise them on ebay at the appropriate time, and not bother giving forum members first option.

I was over the moon when Zealth advertised the 25th rims on here instead of ebay; I got first dibs after looking out for those rims for 5 years.

So someone on here might decide that they need a cheap set of OEM rims, or would like first dibs on the TAK rims.

But if I have to put a fixed price at this time then I will go do some research on what is a fair price.

Thing is that interest is related to price. If $1500, I'm not interested. If $500 I may be interested.

OK ... but EOI still sounds like an auction by stealth to me. :p

In the interests of your research, a couple of Forum members have given away OEM rims in recent times, and as soon as I score a new set of wheels for Zed No 2, I will be doing the same (I'm still looking as I didn't notice at first that your TAK wheels only have 7" rims. That's not wide enough for me, and maybe a bit on the small side for the 235/45s as well).

So a fair price for the OEMs without rubber would be IMHO - free to good home. Hope this helps.

And legally not wide enough for any Z32. $500-$600 is what I would put them at. Look good though.

    Maybe 7.5 . . . known they are 235/45/17

Probably are 7.5" then, when you get the car back take a wheel off and have a look, the width is normally stamped on the inside along with the load rating and sometimes the offset :)

They've got to be 8in. Look at how square the side walls are to the rim. I was running 235's on those 18in RSGT's I had and they were 8in. If they were 7in then the tires would be a bit wider than the rim.

If I am correct, then I just increased intrested for ya buddy. No-one wants 7in rims.
