[NSW] DRIFT AUSTRALIA Rd 4 - Eastern Creek

Hey all you party people,

The Drift Aus Series is rolling into Eastern Creek and it signals the first of 2 home rounds for us. We have had a tough start to the season, but have been improving every round, and all your favorites will be there! (Caz and Wokkie)

There is also an opportunity to have your car in the Show and shine on the sunday, so let's get it all happening for a big Z showing from all over.

Looking forward to seeing you all there, I can hear you in the crowd if you are loud enough!

Woo Hoo Cant wait to get back out there.

Playing with the DriftZ again. Will be good not to have to go a 2000kms across the country to compete for a change. Is there practice coming up for the DriftZ before hand guys, in Melbourne at the moment mum has had a stroke, so things are not good..

Testing Monday

Well we are at Oran Park on Monday, working hard on mid corner speed through maximising grip.

This will translate to quicker exit speeds and snappier transitions, which is where we are lacking.

I'll be working on using maximum track and learning exactly where the back of the car is and how close to the edge of the track/walls we can get.

And then we will finish with some battle practice later in the afternoon.

Should be a good day, hope lots are coming out next weekend.

For the luck, it is always handy in a Judged Sport

We had a very positive test session on Monday, with a new suspension package brining our grip levels right up to where we think should be very competitive, and giving me more confidence in the car.

I am nervous and super excited to get out on track tomorrow, and really looking forward to the weekend.

Wokkie will be back spinning the spanners again, which will make a big difference.

Saturday

Working sunday, but will come out for a look on saturday.
Be interested to see how much the zed has improved, haven't seen you drive since i followed you around Eastern creek one meet Dan when you had the R33, had the best seat in the house watching you throw the Skyline around,
be good to catch up with Wokkie, Caz and the gang.

Saturday Showing Promis

Hi Gang,

And thanks Ron, was great to catch up with you again today mate, hope you were happy to see the Z progress, she is now starting to come the goods, and I'm really confident for tomorrow.

We had a very positive day today, and we were competitive with all but the top 4 or 5 cars, but we are working on that, having said that I made a couple of small mistakes in both my qualifying runs that saw us tumble down the order to 19th in prelim qualifying.

I get one more run tomorrow to try and improve that position, and I think that I should be able to land us in the top 16 by the end of qualifying, and the battle our way through.

Looking forward to tomorrow a hell of a lot gang, and hoping to see you lot out there, the support is great.
