My TT auto sits on around 79-82 on normal days with aircon on.
On days where it's 35-40 degrees outside and aircon set to 10 degrees inside the cabin in stopped traffic for 15 minutes+, I usually see temps rise till it gets to around 88 degrees.
As soon as i turn the aircon off the temps quickly drop down to 80-82 degrees over a few minutes.
As soon as i start moving again the temps stay in the low 80's even with aircon on.

This is with the stock cooling system, vented nose panel and external transmission cooler.
The car still has all the splash guards/airguides/shrouds in place.

A few days ago I put on a CZP radiator airguide, so i'll see how temps are this summer and whether it makes any difference.

    Hey E

    Just making this point:

I have driven all along the dividing ranges/ sat in 50c temps with air-con on and driven it at full throttle and never gone past 95c let alone above 100C - I can't be the only one given its only a stock system........

I am not saying your wrong on any point, but don't think the comparison between a Z and a nascar is helpful here.

The only magic illusion trick here is water acting like a liquid above 100C - pretty impressive illusion - I must admit....

100C vs 105C - is negligible in the scheme of things.......So it is a agreed we will sit on our own figures - LOL

    Regards as always......
