For sale is my:

NISSAN 300ZX *NON TURBO*
J-Spec (imported from japan in 2004)
Targa Roof
2+2
Manual
145,000kms
Red in colour


The car has the following mods etc:
JVC headunit with ipod
Pioneer 6" splits in front and alpine 5x7 speakers in rear
Momo steering wheel and Monza gear knob
Engine imobliser

Apexi pod filter
3" catback exhaust with chrome muffler tips (sounds great)
Short shift kit
Lowered springs and aftermarket shocks. (not sure what brand. they are green and from japan)
Aftermarket side shirts with stock front and rear bar

Excedy heavy duty clutch put in April this year
also has brand new genuine nissan clutch master cylinder and the slave cylinder was replaced in february this year

The car is serviced every 10,000kms using only the best oils, plugs etc

Car drives well. never had any problems except for clutch but everything has been replaced new and i havnt had a single problem since.
At the moment its running a little rough when its cold. But once it heats up and is driven its perfectly fine

FAULTS/BADS
-Currently the drivers side window won't go back up. this happened yesterday and i havnt had time to look into it yet. may be something simple, im not too sure

-The paint is a little faded. being a red car and 20 years old, this is understandable. would benifit from a respray, but when polished and cleaned up it looks tidy.

-The car has remote central locking, but it isnt working from pressing the buttom at the moment. I went into a car audio place and they said it may be a relay stuffing up or somthing. i havnt had time to look into it. but would be an easy fix

-THERE IS A SCRATCH/SMALL DENT IN DRIVERS SIDE DOOR. (this was from someone in a ute reversing into my door and then bailing whilst i was at work. have been quoted $500 to fix and respray)

note: THIS CAR WILL BE SOLD UNREGISTERED as i dont have the time or money to look into getting a roadyworthy etc.

also THIS CAR WILL NOT BE SOLD WITH THE RIMS PICTURED i have a full set of the dark chrome front rims on the car now but will not be sold with the car. a different set of 17" rims will be included (as pictured below).

just on that driver side window.. i had the same problem wen i bought my Z..

u probably need a new power window motor or regulator.. the motor i bought cost about 140 from a wreckers and i had a look at installing it but seemed like to much fiddling around.. n a auto electrician only chared me $88 to fit it (Y)

wow... i bought for $30 from wrecker and installed myself (was a bitch of a job ill admit.) point being ur wrecker sounds like a jerk lol

 

hey man. nah i dont have any histroy pre 2004 sorry.
it still has standard headers (extractors) and as for peformance parts. only whats listed really. just pod filter, and catback exhaust. aside from the usual peformance spark plugs, oils and general other maintince stuff

Being an import, how much is it costing you to insure it?

 

well im 18. and it costs me $40 a month insured by RACQ and thats just 3rd party fire n theft. insurance value of 8k
so in my opinion its pretty cheap..
duno how much full comp is tho
