just wanted to know if this (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/260895816579?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649) fits the n/a and does it bold directly on to the extractors ? from my understanding the n/a has extractors -downpipe-catback in its exhaust or am i missing something ?
Yes, yes and dunno. Be careful though with tube welded exhaust, overheating, possible blown head gaskets etc. Provides no heatsink.
There is no problem with a welded tube exhaust. OEM is welded tube, every aftermarket one I have seen is welded tube, the several I have made myself are welded tube. No problems with any of them (well except for my sub par welding ) The front pipes in the link should fit fine, but I don't recommend a de cat pipe on the street. Stinks. Also depends if your cat back flanges haven't been fiddled with at all. Sometimes they are cut off to suit other exhausts.
Same likelihood of the headlight glass crazing as the tube exhaust causing a head gasket failure. An exhaust shop should be able to whip them up much cheaper.
Yes and no. Will fit, but as Chrispy said, flanges probably wont marry up with your catback section at the very least. Further issues could arise from decat pipe length- too long or too short. Not really an issue, if you know how to weld, but something to consider. THEN there is the other issue of cheap systems not fitting properly. Have seen some cheap n-power exhausts where the pipes werent the same. 1 pipe hung lower than the other. Whilst others seem to fit okay. Must vary according to siesta or happy hour times. Then the further issues of legalities with decat pipes, and, having an NA, you're going to have to pay attention to what kind of mufflers you are using. PLUS, you dont have the flexibility or freedom that you would with a TT. I've a full Veilside Evolution exhaust system on my NA. Waited months and months for it.... and it sounds terrible.
