NO POWER...

    Have just installed my new fmic from the gb, started the car up, took it 4 a drive & IT DROPPED POWER ON TAKE OFF, THEN, REVVED OUT ALRIGHT UNTILL I PUT THE FOOT DOWN , & THEN HAD NO POWER AT ALL. IT JUST SEEMED 2 NOT WANTING 2 GO AT ALL... It seemed 2 pick up power again after i took my foot off the peddle, but put the foot down again & no power still..i also installed a new pod filter set up...     check airflow meter connection and

    that you have installed intercooler intake/outlet pipes in the correct sequence...

    Hey again.

    You seem like you have a similar problem to what i had.. When i put my foot dwn on the accelerater it was really really rough and not going above 1500rpm.
    For me it was the air flow meter. That gave me weeks of greif.. Have you had your car Dyno Tuned??? That may be what is causing the problem. I cant really think of whatelse it could be.

    cts unit plug

    had the same problem last night,it turned out to be the cts (coolant temp sender) wasnt plugged in properly,si:) :zlove:

    I had this problem. Well, same symptoms. My problem was an intake hose that was leaking like a MOFO. It was driving fine till I put my foot down as this was when the turbos would kick in and pressure would shoot out the hoses. So, lots of fuel and no air. I assume you have heaps of soot building up on the back of your car from running rich? Otherwise, my car would run fine under vacuum. Check the pipes on the new IC for leaks where you maybe haven't joined up pipes tightly enough. And get metal hardpipes or check your current ones (if you don't have hardpipes) for the same thing.
