I'm getting mine tuned there Kae, was advised to get the nistune installed elsewhere tho Hopefully be ready today
I agree with you kade, he does take a while. But his tuning skills are brilliant, so i will put up with a bit of messing around. Would rather wait to have it tuned right than get some noob to do it and fry an engine.
haha good advice and yeh im sure he has the tuning skills worth waiting for and he does seem like a decent guy so i dont want to sound too harsh
You just need to socket your ECU (prick of a job) farm that out , It doesn't store two tunes as such , you have one burned and you can load another ,which will be erased when you switch it off ,or burn it to the ecu if you want it . But you could have any number saved on your computer and flash the nistune in a mater of seconds (i have done it in the staging lanes )
Had my Zed Nistuned and tuned by EFI last year. Was pretty happy. Hey Crispy put me down with a EOI in your Wide band O2, 1 of. Cheers bud, good work
I got mine installed early this week thru EFI... Cost me $395 for the chip and for it to be installed (making sure it's done right) and then $220 for the single licence... Spoke to Matt at nistune and he said the licence prices are about to go up

I'll contact Nistune and try and get some more options for the wide bands. What does everyone want, just a plug into lappy wideband or a gauge as well?
Hey Chris Im interested in software and Wideband O2.. price pending. Ive just been glancing in waiting for solid prices..
Chrispy, forgive my ignorance on the topic Whats the point of having the software with no Daughterboard with which to tune your car ?
In the case of chrispy and I, using the VH45 ECU, there is no daughterboard that suits. Instead we have to use a Moates Emu (emulator). The software allows us to tune the emulator. Chris misread the nistune information (it was pretty weird wording) about the VH45, disregard the VH info on the first page

As Anton said you can tune with a Romulator or Moates Ostrich, but it's more mucking about, pulling the ecu out, plugging the emulator in, burning a new chip etc. With the daughter board all tuning is via the consult port, no other mucking about required once it is installed.
