Hi Guys I put up a post Yesterday but without Photo's, so here's some shots of my new toy.

She's a 1991 2+2 TT Manual in Black with Black Leather, Not 100% perfect but still pretty good. Z Shop did a full mechanical report and she came thru really well. infact only needs number plate globe for road worthy, There are some jobs for me to do just basically tidying her up. First job this weekend is an Engine bay clean up and detail, (Got the KZed instructions from the Tech Section) , some Guard Rolling and wheel fitting.
I Bought some wheels from MRZEDEZ (Really nice Guy) They're GMax Defiant 19x8.5 & 19x9.5, they should look pretty good on her, also just purchased some lowered springs. No other plans at this stage other than to get her cleaned up and sitting right with the wheels filling the guards and then hopefully get involved with the Melbourne guys on some runs / cruises. Cheers Dave.

P.S Looking to swap the front bar for a standard TT front bar if anyone interested, The bar does have 2 cracks in it.

It's not bad but the bonnet has some hail damage, and is badly faded, I got a bonnet from Mafized off the car he's parting out so that should fix that problem. The whole car really needs a good clean up but all in all it seems to be pretty sound.

Welcome Dave, you have a very nice base in which to work with. I know you'll have fun looking after her. I've had my zed for 5 months and am still in "honeymoon" mode.

Nice buy Dave. Good choice in wheels, suit the car perfectly!
I'd be interested in swapping my stock bar for yours. You have exactly what I'm after. Let me know if you're interested.

Dont you think this offset is just a little aggressive??? Do you have any problems with scrubbing?

Must be that all-terrain mod I've been reading about :)

Contemporary Satire everyone! I'm here all weekend! (unfortunately)

Welcome to the club! I'm up at 4:40 because I can't sleep, as in a few hours I get to hop in Joker, cruise to my local garage and replace all EFI hosing! Love working on these cars!!

    Dave_G,

Which tech article on cleaning your engine bay are you referring to? I tried to search but couldn't find it.

    Cheers.
