New style crystal side indicators - $47 a pair delivered

I now have a price for these indicators at $47 delivered. note that they are not a direct fit and will require some modification to fit.

Interested but what sort of mods are required? Cutting the panel or trimming the indicators down?

very interested....just want to know what exactly is needed to fit them to make sure its a good flush fit...dont want water to be leaking....also how is the quality of the item...dont want it to go yellow in the sun or anything...

I have a pair on their way to me just have to wait until they arrive, I will fit them on my car and see what needs to be done to fit them.

 

received these today, damn they look nice!

the good news is there is no modification required to the bulb mount, it goes straight in

but to fit them you can see in the pic there are two plastic mounting bolts that need to be cut off, and basically to install them will require affixing them with sikaflex.

being plastic the two bolts will cut off easily with a dremel.

Would it be possible to use a metal plate behind

the guard to bolt the indicator to? This would provide a more secure fitment than sikaflex.

 

yes but you would need to drill holes through the fender to accommodate the mounting bolts on the indicators. up to you how you mount them. I'll be putting them on my car one way or another

I will also offer to dremel off the mounting bolts for those who are put off by that. price will remain at $47 delivered.

 

Are these larger than the normal ones?

Do they extend back and front of the existing hole? What dims are they?

2. alot cheaper than the nismo ones....

but if you could show pics with them mounted nicely on your car, and that if we know it wont fall off and sit nicly there might be more interest...

we just fitted a pair of these to Mr Gs car yesterday, will see if he can post some pics for us.

 

OK, here they be...

Very happy with the look of them. On the shelf, thought they looked quite chunky, but they really fit in well with the shape of the Z and they look brilliant! You take out the metal screws, then use a dremel to shave off as much plastic as possible. Then they should fit nicely against the Z. For the price, one of the best value for money cosmetic upgrades that you will notice and appreciate every day you drive the Z!
