Just fitted DBA series 4000 Rotors and Bendix Ultimate pads...... very happy with the results , much better braking power ... Disc,s are drilled and slotted, which i know is not popular here , but thought id give them a shot.
same my setup is the same atm, as you said, huge difference in stopping power over the stock bakes which are totally inadequate for such a powerfull car, another small addition to the package that makes a big difference also is a brake brace, i have the chili one, works great, seems to stop that shuddering under hard braking, till the brakes start fading anyway, in future i think i may opt for porsche brakes or something like that, dual calipers possibly. oh, my rotors aren't drilled, just slotted. one thing i do consistently is bleed the system, same with the clutch on mine, every 1,000km or so , which was a trip to Perth and back for me.
I think its more the pads than the rotors to be honest, thought the slotted and or drilled is just to help with heat dissipation, I got stock brakes, changed to bendix ultimates and pulled my car up alot faster. The brake dust is over the top but it does the job very well. If there are other brakes that do it this well without the dust I might opt for these next time but I think like I said above you'll find its more the pads than the rotors (unless yours were stuffed) as I just noticed a big difference with pads alone.
