Got a new set of rims and tires from my lovely insurance company - scratch 2 17" cheapo rims with crap tires and receive a full set of 18" brand spankers with $1200 worth of rubber!! god bless insurance.

The wonderful establishment that hooked that up for me have also had both control arms on the front recoed with new bushes etc ($380 a side! yikes!) and have replaced high pressure hoses, fixed an oil leak etc. even serviced the thing. they also replaced some other suspension bits and pieces and gave her a 4 wheel alignment. im told i can know adjust the camber on the front wheels as well, which they did so i wont chew thru tires. again, god bless insurance.

Monday the car is going to a bodyshop for a new full bodykit, FMIC polishing, new front fenders and a respray of most of the body, maybe even the whole thing. Should look mint when i get it back in about 100 years. I'll prob get the radiator out for a rodding at the same time.

pretty bloody good for an accident that didnt even cause structural damage!!!

Now, what can i get the bodyshop to do about the crappy peeling black strips that run up the side of the windscreen and next to the targas? should i tell them to strip them back and paint them black, does that even work??
