Thanks for the vote of confidence Baz, but being honest , i wouldnt have the time to devote to organizing it , and running it.
Hopefully someone else will step-up to the plate.

    Cheers

I'd be up for a TT one if a GB was organised.

    ^^^^^^^^ Me too

I just received a new radiator today, so this seems like the perfect companion!

    So....

    You volunteering to organise???
I'd do it if work wasn't so crazy atm.

Tech day coming up in March in QLD, we could have a clutch fan install en-mass

.. an afterthought and complication on a G/B for this item ...

.. given the level of interest, overall value would be sure to draw Customs/Excise interest involving both import duty and gst ... thereby negating any potential G/B savings ...

... and then on-shipment costs in Australia would be an additional impost ....

.. looks to me that not a lot would be gained over individual orders ....

    just a thought or two ... ??

Get your orders in before the exchange rate drops or you will lose any chance of a good price.

I believe orders of up to 5 grouped together would be advantageous and would avoid import taxes.

I'd be interested if my engine build was further along.

Maybe a group buy per state may work.
Once interest rates rise in a few days, that will restore the exchange rate

I'd possibly be interested in a TT clutch fan, not 100% yet though

AUD$250 delivered, from Coz, is pretty good.

    Hardly worth a GB IMHO.

I bought mine through a group bulk order from coz through street to strip. From memory there isn't much that Coz can take off OEM parts as there isn't a great profit margin in them. Also it may even end up being more expensive for you guys to get a group buy order from coz sent to one person and then have to post everything out to the group buy participants.

Caz1 also sells these. Got one for my TT from her and no complaints.

It's a Dayco brand but nothing wrong with it.

I agree with changing the clutch fan after perhaps 100-200K. Was the cause for overheating with aircon turned on while in traffic.

Also a good time to ditch that hideous cracked fan blade that attaches to the clutch fan.

Hopefully the dayco proves to be more successful than the Davies Craig.
