Hey guys, check out my new work...
    1) New centre panel from Gonzo, paint isn't quite right, but its ok for now.
    2) Finally installed the EL-Tape, it looks like someone already swapped it for a newer panel with tape in it, but it was old and broken.
    3) My brother, friend and I waxed our cars and took photos.

EDIT: P.S. don't let your friends wash the back of your car without explaining that the fairlady stickers on the back are delicate... Can you get anything better than the vinyl stickers, like a badge? I think I've seen them somewhere.

You put a clear coat over the stickers.

I have a 'Fairlady Z' badge in chromed solid letters I found on ebay a long time ago. Have not seen any since though.

Nice waxing job :) the nose panel looks pretty fine apart from the paint is a bit darker.

vinyl stickers should be pretty tough though...the ones I made before has held up to quite a few washes already without trouble, same goes the 1/4 window stickers.

but I'm looking to upgrade my lettering too, to something more...steely..

Looks great! Shame about the decals on the back :(, mine have been on for 4 years now, no clear coat and still perfect.
I also stock these emblems.. pm me if interested.
They are self adhesive solid black background with Alloy letters, .

It looks like your rear panel was a factory illuminated unit, as most aftermarket items only illuminate the thin outline of the 300ZX, not the entire figures/letters.:zlove:

Thats right, past owner must have swapped it, but it was not working. Once I opened it up I could see that the el-tape was damaged. It made my job a lot easier.

Same as mine, ex factory unit.
Mine had burnt out contacts on the EL tape.
