Ordered a new clutch the other day from a comPany in USA named Gripforce. Got a xtr stage 3 clutch and lightened flywheel on the way. Just wondering has anyone had any experience with these clutches? Any feedback would be great.
    Cheers -Darren

tassuperkart Its a lie I tell you!

Im positive the Stage 3 is a six segment cushioned brass plate and an uprated pressure plate. Pedal feel will be about the same but clutch action will be typical of just about any brass button clutch.
Possibly somewhat snatchy and shuddery and a relatively short pedal. Old adage, brass clutches are "built for grip, NOT for slip".
Id also suggest a little more savage due to a lightweight fly.

Youll get used to it but will you ever like it?? Specially iffen its a daily driven car in traffic where the lively clutch action becomes a bit of a pita.

    Cheers

I have a stage 4 in my zed and a stage 2 in Cara's zed. Great clutches. Benny recently got a stage 2 in his zed.

do you also have a new pilot bush and the alignment tool? Also might want to change the clutch pivot to a chromolly one while you are there.
