Here's what I found today when I took the centre nut off today, after this has been making a racket for 2 weeks again:eek: !

Not a pretty sight lol, now just got to go and find an inner grease seal. Inner bearing seams ok but the outer has died completely. This was a brand new bearing 6 months ago, after the last one died at 140,000kms. This one strated playing funny buggers after 2 weeks  needing constant adjustment and re-greasing WTF, and it was all put in as per the manual:confused:  correct tensions et all.

Dyem matt, that looks pretty damn nasty for a new bearing. was it OEM?

Also, did you have fun pulling the bearing out? I've had to use a hydraulic press each time :(

LOL tom didnt have to pull it out it all fell out!

Just got to get the inner race off the hub. Fixed it with a used one for the time being and waiting for the new one to turn up.

    That is shocking... camera work!!!

That is a worry that is has worn so quickly. Hopefully you received a dud, and the next one will do at least 140,000k's :bash:

Hate to say it, but the number one cause of bearing and seal failures (in all applications) is installation error.
