Hi all. After replacing exterior mouldings, rear hatch seals, going Brazilian and some other exterior work, plus getting all the mechanical side completed. I am now starting on the interior. I have a 1991, 300tt (2+0) still with original tweed seat covers and interior panels. I am about to have these all replaced with a nice suede on the interior panels and leather on the seats with a perforated insert. A class look not a flashy look. The guy doing the work does a lot of upgrading of new Toyota 4WD interiors for a dealership so does excellent work. I have been searching for a step by step write up/ tutorial on how to remove the inside door panels, glove box and other panels. But no luck in finding this Can anyone help me with these with these write ups/tutorials Many thanks MIKEA
I did a thread on recovering the seats around August 2011 I think. You can search threads started by me if you wish. I've also got some videos on my youtube channel (links in the aforementioned thread).
I remember watching Mitch's videos on taking apart the seats. Very good guides. The interior comes apart very easily, hunt around for screws and you will find they're all held in by very obvious screws. The only hidden ones are some in the door card, in the window pillar and the stereo bezel.
