hey guys....took my car to my mechanic today and no he is not a 300zx expert but he is a friend of the family and trustworthy so i feel safe taking my car to him...hehe anyways i have been having som steering probs lately and he checked it and it seems i have to buy a new part but the problem is he doesnt know what its called...he said its like a universal but its the part that goes from the rake to the steering column...he rang nissan and they said it would cost $380 for the part.... does anyone know what its called? what its worth ? and where i can get one cheaper if possible? hope you can help. cheers Gus

It's called the lower joint Gus See page ST 11 in the online workshop manual in the tech section. Don't know what they are new but give Cresta Wreckers a call 07 3245 1555 speak to John he will mail you the part if he has one.:thumbsup: Cliff
