is the conversion from NA to TT that hard? currently got a TT but have located a good priced NA motor. wondering just how hard n whats involved in chaging the na to suit the TT it was in there b4...
So... you have a Twin Turbo 300ZX and you want to go from a TT to NA, not NA to TT as you were saying? I'm assuming this because you've said you've "got a TT" but located an "NA motor". Have a quick search, it will yield many threads with lots of technical information; the gist of which are:- Don't waste your time
yeah thats the gist....my TT motor has no compression on the left well low 140's compared to right side of 160's..and the only decent priced angine i can find is an NA so wondering how hard it is to make the NA to a TT so i cant just throw it straight back into my beast...
get a TT motor, not worth the time, effort or money by a LONG shot. Seems we're getting about 2 of these questions per week these days
If an entire bank is low then it is probably something easy like the timing belt is off by a tooth, or the inlet cam gear locator is damaged. Didn't I already tell you this? It's a bazzillion times easier to check these things than to swap from TT to NA.
