i hate this.....so iv decided to sell my car as i am currently unemployed and iv decided to go to uni next year plus i have to upgrade my dirt bike for next years victorian off road enduro segment, i was going to tt my zx as the engine thats in it at the moment is not running to well problems with the car that i know off

injector problem missing sounds like its running like a wrx

just started making a tapping noise at midrange revs

front disc brakes slightly warped

front left and left rear tyres slow slow slow leak

front lower bumper crack


now for the good stuff

4 near new tyres 90%

new spark plugs

rewired throttle position sensor

new battery and terminals

det sensor bypass

rockford 500 watt amp pioneer 1000watt amp 1000 watt pioneer sub 4x 150watt rockford 6 inch speakers pioneer head unit

registered till march next year

straight body no dints paint is just starting to peel in some areas there is abit of a sunburn going on on the roof

i will upload pictures in the next couple of days, i hardly drive this car. and if it was up to me i would keep this car and bring her back to brand new.... but in most cases it only happens to the best of us. i WILL be buying another zx in the future

Cant say I've seen this one going around. How long has it been out of action for?

 

last time i was in bendigo with the car would of been around 2 months ago i live around harcourt area. and i know what P plates + zx= COPS in bendigo

 

curious to know, have you had the repairs priced ie+RWC or something of the like?

 

i dont have rwc but from what i know front brakes front suspension and headlights re aimed need to be done. I had the rear suspension replace for rwc last year and front right wheel bearing, shimmed disc brakes other than that i dont know

Might I suggest you either fix that back tyre or get the weight off it. If you leave it like that too long you will end up with an out of round tyre, and that will be no good to anyone.

i fixed the tyre after the photo's were taken, they tend to deflate a different speeds depending which way the tyre was parked, i think the rim is buckled

Wow man. That looks like pretty tidy start for someone wanting a slick top. Best of luck with it. Should sell quick i would imagine. Cheap 2+0 slick....red =D

 

Yeah, if I had not already bought mine I'd be having a very close look at this one.

 

this weekend my mate who use to work for toyota racing is going to have a look at the engine problem and probably fix it, if so the price will go up still keen for a sale on my Z as i need my 300exc!

 

If i had the coin laying around, i would absorb it into my collection of zed bits.... this be not the case though =(
