Not certain if my engine oil dipstick is original, the length from the "high" mark to the dipstick stop is 510mm. Could someone please measure their dipstick and let me know. 1990 Jspec NA . Thanks

I have an Aus Spec NA but I would imagine that they would be the same. So the overall length of the dipstick is 64 cm but the more significant measurement is the length from the bottom of the dipstick to where the the dipstick sits on top of the dipstick tube which is 54 cm. Oops, sorry misread your post. Yes my measurement is the same as yours - 51 cm from the "high" mark to the dipstick stop and 2 cm from the high mark to the low mark.
The reason... we wanted to know was that Paul thought the Zed sounded like it was running with too much oil and has been wondering if it is because the dipstick may not be accurate. Jan Thanx for the reply!!!

ahahah loud'n'proud when are you going to learn that its not the size that matters, its the amount of power you have bloody na there its no good having a 12'' dipstick if its only got the power of the na pffffttt ..... jj now look at the tt...same size but BANG power
does it go quicker with an orange interior i actually find the stock dipstick a real pain to read how much oil is in it
