5 speed SZ-R, 6 speed came out on '96 and above. Mine was '94 SZ-R. The only differnce with SZ-R and SZ (both NA), SZ-R had TT brakes which were larger, Bilstein suspension and LSD. Later model ('96+) had the 6speed TT box. Mate the only way YOU will know and for arguments sake, let us know the result after the race. My experiance with clean and maintained NA Z and NA Supra, both basically stock to begin and modified the same tell me that Supra is quicker, both in accel and top end.
