I've having the most stressful month so far, checking on my every night before i sleep, double check its locked etc. Sucks not having a garage. Well if you are lucky, maybe they stole the zed and repaired the problems and then returned it.
Maybe they wanted your wheels for another car (Nissan). Maybe they thought it was a turbo or you have an impressive audio system. Those GPS transmitters might be worth considering. I have locked my zed down, after reading this.
That's a good point. If they're a little uneducated, they might think all 300s are turbo, making it a bit of a target. I'm quite lucky to have off-street, carport parking. But I have very strict criteria regarding parking when choosing a house. I wouldn't live somewhere without at least a car port Especially with a Z, they melt in the summer and leak in winter.
It's kinda irrelevant guys, and it's probably not making him feel any better. Get on Facebook and ask those shifty mates of yours if they know someone who might know someone who might know something. I've had one potential lead which I called James about yesterday, turned out to be nothing however
Maybe in typical zed fashion it will break down. As bad is it sounds, might be the best option at the moment.
this is where those portable 3g gps receivers that can send/receive gps locations hidden in a neat place work wonders. hope you find it soon, and in tact
Cam i actuallt got this last week...I'm just waiting for the hard-wired battery charger so i dont need to replace the batteries & then it will get installed Abraham
If anyone has a regular Z mechanic around melbourne maybe you should give them the VIN, and tell them to keep an eye out just incase they decide to bring it in to be fixed, unlikely, but who knows
Its been found but the pic ive seen doesnt look good...fingers crossed there isnt much damage. James should post up here soon. Abraham
Details of its recovery and address of house we are all visiting when znats rolls around to teach lesson ?
Even if it's not badly damaged on the outside...you can do a lot of damage/wear to a car if you thrash it for a couple of hours. Damage that insurance probably won't cover, and will be very expensive to fix. Still, much better to be found than not I guess. Hopefully they can catch the pieces of shit responsible.
