their is 1 other z31 owner that i know of, nik on forum is bobchic. thats a nice clean ride man top stuff ...man even the z31 engine bay is just as crowded as z32 lol

Yeah its rediculous how crowded the engine bays are in both cars!! Nah mate mine unfortunately doesnt have the adjustable suspension button aye... well not that ive found yet... the interior pic is a lil outdated i jus realised since now i have a Sony headunit in the place of that oldskule massive retro tyle tape deck haha.. anyways thanks for the comments guys :zlove: Jared

i never realised before, but imo the top half of the z31 taillights look a little bit like 180sx lights. Wonder if you could do a swap with a bit of modification!

i dont think ill b parting with $45,000 for those parts in the near future haha so y u recon an rb would b an easier swap? jus because its a lot smaller design? i was also considering a rb20 cause of the 200zr and thinking that the parts for an rb20 would b cheaper?? Jared
The RB series engines are popular and there lots spare parts that can be found thanks to Skyline, 180's and Silvia's. I'll personnaly go with a RB25 instead of the RB20. RB20's have shit torque but i dont know if a RB25 will fit in a Z31 engine bay.
rb20 into z31 Mate it is no pipe dream the Jap zersion of the z31 came stock with a rb20det, its called the 200zr same chassy just has a rb20det in it, search google on the 200zr you will find tons of info
Why not get a VG30DET? They came factory for the Z31 so probably an easier swap and still a decent engine. You can do the RB thing but I think there will be some fab work involved... these guys http://www.sportsclassic.com.au deal with alot of early zeds and may be able to help you out with a motor.
