Finally uploaded pics of the show Nice S2000 bodykit: First time this Impreza has been "off-road"?: This guy has put in some serious attention to detail. Look at the pics of underneath the car and the paintwork in the engine bay: The PIGLET. This "car" is one giant subwoofer. That is 9000W RMS of amp in the back, hand-pumped alternators on the front and there are 25 batteries inside. The roof, door and floors are full of concrete (hence the jacks under the doors). Inside there's a 18" subwoofer and the interior is setup as a giant bandpass box. It drives (very slowly) and has solid suspension so it doesn't bottom out under it's own weight. And the reading? 161+ dB of sound. Notice the bolt holes on the door frame? That's to hold the doors on so the sound pressure doesn't blow them off. Nice widebody Supra: Matt paint looks really nice here: The famous LV Z3 was there too. Even the spoiler is covered in leather: STTTTRRRRREEEETCHED: Nice engines bays: Comfy. The best bit, there's even a pole for your lady to dance in there for you This angle of the Ferrari looked real menacing. I've never taken notice before, but that front end looks NICE: Can anyone tell me what this is exactly? The fire extinguishers aren't exactly in easy reach of the driver are they: Some nice audio installs. But what the hell is with the toilet? Someone has too much time on there hands (and I mean WAY too much time, more than normal AutoSalon entrants have )
Really? That's weird. This guy said his PIGLET was second loudest in Australia. Maybe it's a special category. They do a "burp" I think it was, where it play real low, like 70 Hz, at that volume, maybe that's why.
Yeah 170 db in the final, First round it caught fire and the fire extinguishers were used. It runs 40,000 watts and melts cables. I was standing there and thinking, I wounder where they fit the smoke machine but next minute they were squirting the extinguisher into it.
