Hey anyone have any photo's of MagnaFlow 14861 on a zed or know a place to see them "live" in Melb (City or West).

(And of course, where to buy them at the right price, and a good fitter)
Should I do the rest of the exhaust at the same time?
What do people recommend for rest of the system?

    1990 NA
    Daily driver, city and freeway
DONT WANT - Loud or drone
    DO WANT - Nice note!

    Thanks.
    Simon.

Rob's doing a group buy on Magnaflows for $560/pair, probably the best price you can get for em... I'll be participating as well once I finish sorting my funds :)

I'm in the process of doing my NA at the moment as well, so far as i can tell for a nice sounding/non droney system, you'll want good quality oval muffs(like magnaflows) not cannons, and a decent x pipe.

Most people swear by the UAS xpipe and i think there are a few others out there. For the rest of the system get some decent cats and if you can afford them, a set of headers as well. Im only doing a cat back on mine because i just cant justify the cost of RHD headers(around 500 for the TTZ ones i think).

Apparently LHD drive headers can be fitted but some mods are required, not 100% sure though, can get em cheapish off ebay. Ill be getting 2.5" mild steel pipes, again cost is why im not going stainless.

+2. I just replaced my brandless mufflers for Magnaflows. Both mufflers were identical in appearance and dimension, both straight through design. The difference between them were chalk and cheese. The brandless ones droned and the note was anything but nice. The Maganflows have eliminated all the drone, the note is sweet and is still straight through so you know performance is not going to be hindered.

Around $300 more for Magnaflow, priceless for the difference they make :)

I should say, it's already got TTZ Headers on it.

Sometimes they all look the same, but the difference is huge. I don't want to waste money, but likewise don't want to buy something then have to replace it.

TTZ Headers - Expensive, but bolted straight on and good quality.

    Anyone with Pic's though??

URHYNS - Love the plates, nice mufflers too!

well i have a full straight through Xforce system on my TT with 2 Xforce cannons at the back..
Im going to replace them with the 2x14807 magnaflows and then let everyone know the difference, im expecting to loose the drone and gain a nice ROAR at full throttle...
Also two nice silver holes filling out each end port on my WW bar ;) Hehe
