RE : Mr Zee's Tech day

Thanks Michael and Bernadette for hosting the tech day on Saturday. Excellent weather (well a little hot maybe but at least it wasn't raining as it had been all week), excellent food and excellent people with whom to share the day. Great to see all those Zeds there in the one place - what a car :zlove: . Nice photos Peter - good to catch up again. Cheers. Clive.

a big shout out thanks to mike and bernadette even though our journey was

bigger than others....the satisfaction of just being there imensed by the friendliest group of individuals I ever met truly made the trip worth it 1000 times over. I am humbled by your hospitality to mike and Bernadette as it was just spectacular. Even though we arrived at about 3 - 4 ish in the morning and we had work the next day if you organise another one tomorrow....I'll be there 1st thing, haha.

Even though we still didn't manage to figure out my oil probs which had me shocked, it still was a really rewarding positive experience. I personally believe everyone should give themselves a pat on the back.

Thanks everyone for being very friendly, enthusiastic and willing to help and of course welcoming. This definitely should be an annual event with a big turn out like that..

    Thanks again!!!

I too am sunburnt and buggered but had a lot of fun working on Marss R33,hands up who else was wishing they could have taken to a Skyline with an angle grinder.
Good to see every one getting in and having a go and all the various jobs being tackled, only way you learn is by getting your hands dirty.
Think we need to hire a warehouse and fly in some of the interstate zed guru's for the next one though, getting far to big for a one day event.

The invasion of the Zeds! What a great day. Thanks to Michael and

Bernadette for putting it on and opening their home to the Zed fanatics from near and far. Through sticking my head under any number of bonnets, I have learned a lot.

    Fantastic Tech Day

    Hi Mike & Bernadette,

Thank you so much for all your efforts. Words cannot describe how grateful i/we are for accepting us into your house, dirtying your grass, polluting your air, and making a lot of noise haha. Mate your are one of a kind. Only a man and his wife with a heart of gold may accept 52 zeds alot of tools into their house.

I would also like to thank Matt, Danny, Michael, John, (sorry if i have forgotten anyone) for workign on my car. I ended up getting some guages fitted and a boost controller. If you ask me its pretty damn good considering we all needed a small break to prevent heat stroke.

All in all it was a perfect day even if there was 1 skyline there :p:p:p Just kidding MARSS hehe you know we love ya mate.:LOL:.

Thanks again to Mike and Bernadette, and to all the Zed's that made it out there on Saturday. You are all such a great bunch of people and i honestly i could not have met a nicer bunch...

P.s Matt she is boosting till about 10psi and popping vscum hoses now hahahahah not to worry though, i will clamp them down today and work it from there.

    Cheers
    Terry

Michael and Bernadette you guys are champions

Your hospitality and willingness to host such huge events for the benefit of the Zed community is simply amazing.
52 Zeds!!! That's bigger than a Greek wedding

Sorry I had to leave early, would have liked to say longer especially as the sun began to settle making things a little more comfortable outside.

Terry, sorry for spending such little time on your car as I had several people waiting for their speedo's to be fixed. Let me know if you still need help with it (PM or call)

Geoff, Adrian & aK give me a call or PM when you guys are ready.

    Speechless

WOW what a day, even the sunburn went away quick, nothing could have ruined sat for me =)
had the best time, the food looked super, shame the heat just killed me and I just drank litres of coke and water all day...

Would love to have a squeez at pics... they come up as red x's on my screen, will either have to wait till i get home, or if they're not to big feel free to post to alangowski@vinidex.com.au, but i'm sure they look hot as, what a turn out.

Think this tech day will be the talking point for years to come, brilliant turn out, brilliant people

Big hi to everyone, special mention to the wagga crew, few pistons short of an engine, but nice enough, must have been the special medicine they were on, and considering the poor young lady had to work the next day, leaving after 9:30pm was a bigggg sacrifice on her behalf. Hi to my hubbib bro's, fully sick engine mods, you thought me heaps about getting that throttle body clean "greek" style, and Michael with his "Na na you gotta use 2 fingers boys" throttle cleaning expertise at its finest.

And big hi to my dancing 300zx wannbe skyline friend,
your latin R&B techno groove was music to the concert pianist Wizard performing the sweetest music in the world... the Anglegrinder on the Skyline No.5

If this is the standard from our little NSW gang, then i pitty the phool who misses this sunday's gong cruise... you guys could make a party out of a grass growing competition... my stomach still hurts from laughing so much and not just from the sound of the skyline engine... psttt, Marss you wanna get 300zx blow off sounds mate... wooo wooo wooo 3stooges style

Ahhh thanks to everyone... i think from now on we should refer to it as The Never Never Tech Day, cause just like peter pan and neverland, i just didn't wanna go home.
