    36 starters this month with the 300Zx’s topping the numbers again with 14, followed by 240/260Z’s with 9, 370’s down from last month’s 10 to 5 (we missed you Anthony and Craig), 3 X new 2023 Z’s, 2 x 350Z, 1 x 280ZX a R35GTR and a Datto 120Y, coming along

This month we started off at Mount Colah McDonald’s, which can be seen on a previously posted video clip. Trying to leave McDonald’s car park proved challenging due to having to negotiate a Sunday morning cycling event. After avoiding the cyclist and local traffic, we made a quick trip to the Cowan truck stop for a quick regroup to ensure all the Zeds could travel in convoy along the Old Pacific Highway. The stop was meant to be brief, but when you have Zeds around there’s always something to talk about.

Once all we were accounted for, firing up the zeds quickly ended any conversations for later. This 1st leg would have us travel on the Old Pacific Highway for 40 minutes of great scenic country roadside driving before reaching Saddles Bakehouse.

Coffee, photo’s, chatting and answering the call of nature for this scheduled stop. Zeds nearly completely filling one of their parking areas. Coffee and pastry was worth the wait.

Hopping back into the Zeds, saw the 36 cars queue the length of the long driveway to Saddles.

This 2nd and final leg of our cruise would see us continue along the Old Pacific Highway for another 40 minutes with a few turns towards the end to The Angel Sussuri Café at Yarramalong for lunch.

Matt and his team were very efficient and accommodating 50 odd guests at the one time. Early notification from Matt and his team meant that locals and visitors were aware of a influx of Zeds for lunch.

Lots more photos and Zed talk during lunch before departing for home.

These are events are getting more and more popular each month, A special welcome to the guys who just responded to the FB posts and came along to see what it’s all about. Hope you enjoyed yourselves and made some new friends and looking forward to seeing you next month, for a cruise around the Mountain.

A big thank you to Brad and Darelle Tywman, Steve, and the Events team @ Zed Car Club and all the members and friends that attended. Your attendance makes these events worth organising and making them what they are.
