    Problem:

Car dies in the ass. Send to mech to fix, mech is lame. Half assed job. Had to learn and try and fix the prob myself (Im an IT tech, not a mech damn it)

Current at a mental block. The car is missing on the drivers side but not the other, more specificly the front cylinder then the other 2. All new plugs, tried changing coil packs n made no difference. Did notice that on the old plugs that they werent that old but they looked burnt? CAT warning light come on when i take it for a quick run but not on idle.

Have checked the ECU fault code and it came up with code 55 'No fault' but obviously there is.

When i got the car back from mechs, i couldnt initially start it only after much fiddling to notice that he had not put the CAS plug on proplery, can running that for 200km with the plug out cause damage, second thing i noticed was that when changing the plugs that 2 had come loose.

Can a dying CAS, PTU or a sensor i dont know about cause this sort of issue?

Checked injector plugs? Could be corroded, that is quite common. Also check all coilpack and PTU connectors.

CAS not pluged in 100% shouldn't cause any damage.
