2 month old LT-12s - direct plug in ECU for the zed (no wiring needed) comes with manual and even a microtech sticker. if you were to buy this direct from microtech you would pay $1495 + $30 for the manual. offered at $1150. This ECU is practically brand new.

Apexi Super AFC II is now going for $270.00

Did you get the right model Microtech?

I understand that the LTX 12 is the correct on, not the LT 12 , I maybe wrong but I have seen the LTX 12 on the UAS website ,

Best to check, I maybe wrong, but hate to see you fork out money for the wrong model. Regards MIKEA

Re: Did you get the right model Microtech?

LTX12 is the hard wired version. The LT12 is the plug in according to the microtech site.

    http://www.microtech-efi.com/category/1.html

I have been doing a bit of homework on this since I sent the money.

After talking to Tim at Microtech, the different versions are programmed and have suitable connectors for each car/application in the LT12 version. The LTX version is more generic but basically the same electrically.

A couple of things I dont like about it are, There is no output for the VVT soleniods. I am going to have to do an RPM based mod to get this to work. Also it wont work in Closed loop mode using O2's to adjust mixture. So economy in cruise wont be as good as Factory. Also each bank therfore cannot have its mixture adjusted based on O2 measurements.

Also the ECU has no self learning fucntion so as the cars condition changes in between services the programming remains the same and unoptimized at any one time.

It does have some limitations I will have to adapt to. But really unless you buy a MOTEC you basically have to accept a lot of this.

Dan, have you got it in the mail yet?
