I am still on my first set and still plenty left in them after about 20 passes (all with big burnouts  ). 12.91sec @ 107mph, 1.8sec 60ft , 200rw/kw Caz..
Anyone in Brisbane want to go halfs? I?m looking at you Pex/AZA/Magic Mike I can't justify having my own set for the price/number of uses I would get out of them. I have a spare set of stock wheels hanging around home too
I've already spoken to Caz I'm already in the buy. I will be greedy and take 2 just for myself, and happily enjoy wearing them out over then next meet or three.
Bargain!!! I love mine, dropped 0.4 off my best down to 12.504 at 113.5MPH. Dropped my 60ft's from a previous best of 2.001 down to 1.668. Best $value improvement you can make for 1/4 mile times IMO.
I actually hold the record for quickest published 60 foot time of 1.654. Ran it using these exact same tyres purchased through Caz. Here is the link http://www.pexcom.com/forum/httpdocs/Draglist/draglist.htm At least I hold one record he he he
And I hold the record for the quickest Auto 60ft 1.884sec : Also done on these tyres Thats the one your aiming for PEX
i wouldnt think so drag tyres tend to have softer side walls so cornering would be a little sloppy i think
I drive 50km to the dragstrip on mine but prefer not to. No way you could take them to a racetrack they are barely useable on the street. Handling is ordinary on cornering, like having 2 big balloons for tyres at the back. For the strip in a straight line they are brilliant.
If you are after track tyres have a talk to Fleet. He sells some nice street legal semi slicks, they are very very very sticky
