These tyres are just brilliant at the Drags. They have given many of us up to .5sec off our PB. :biggrin: They fit stock Zed 16" rims.

This will be a reletively quick GB as we already have close to the numbers required. It will run till Friday week 22/6/07

I am often asked how long they will last.... I am still on my first set and still plenty left in them after about 20 passes (all with big burnouts :biggrin: ).

I love mine, dropped 0.4 off my best down to 12.504 at 113.5MPH. Dropped my 60ft's from a previous best of 2.001 down to 1.668.
Best $value improvement you can make for 1/4 mile times IMO.

maybe he means how much you would roughly pay outside of the gb as comparison

 

I actually hold the record for quickest published 60 foot time of 1.654. Ran it using these exact same tyres purchased through Caz.

Can these be used for track use also ?

 

i wouldnt think so drag tyres tend to have softer side walls so cornering would be a little sloppy i think

 

I drive 50km to the dragstrip on mine but prefer not to.

No way you could take them to a racetrack they are barely useable on the street. Handling is ordinary on cornering, like having 2 big balloons for tyres at the back. For the strip in a straight line they are brilliant.

If you are after track tyres have a talk to Fleet. He sells some nice street legal semi slicks, they are very very very sticky
