Michelin Tyre of the future?

    That wouldve saved me some money on these mountains roads,

    and punture repairs. I like the idea even if they are a bit ugly.

    It is a briliiant idea though. Maybe if you added a sidewall so that you didn't see what the inside was made of...

    interesting concept

    I like the idea but I can see some flaws. Hitting a pot hole with one of them will likely do more damage to the rim than current tyres.

    lateral flex (aka sidewall flex) would be non-existent. would make for a great race tyre but not a street tyre.

    As for the look, it would be a simple matter of having a fake side wall on them so that they fit with current market expectations.

    ... don't think they'd compliment a sleek Zed too well...

    I wonder how they'd hold out in burnouts.....:eek:;)

    No more scratched mags. wonder if i will clear the curbs now and not wipe off the front end??? but still think i would pass on these ones.

    Agreed - is ugly & needs false sidewalls so the high tech is hidden.

    They already make them for bobcats with about ten removable panels per wheel - no flats & just change the worn bits

    STUPID TYRES

    from a profesional postion they look like a bastard to fit.

    plus the rim is ugly as my bearded ex girlfriend....god i miss her.
