    Hey guys!

Just wondering what would the issue would be if the Z makes a
loud screechy metal grinding noise in low RPMs either in park mode,
driving or any gears. When driving its fine and I slow down, the sound
becomes present and gets louder in lower RPMs then eventually the
car will turn off by itself.

Is it transmission? Engine? Reallly lost on this one..
    Appreciate any replies :)

does it sound like its from the engine bay? do you still have aircon. it could be your ac tensioner or maybe you ac seizing up. could even be your power steering pump.

My aircon is gone, took it off a while ago. Thing is.. I had a little accident on the road,
no warnings signs about a large bump on the road and I failed to see it - the bump made
a large thump noise moving the radiator and the fan hit the transmission hose but got
that fixed.. since then transmission has been sloppy. Topped up oil and all.

Sounds like its coming from the middle front of the car, sounds like just behind the
engine bay underneath. Power steering pump is terrible works on and off randomly.
Makes a faint clicking sound before the loud metal noise comes in, gets faster and
    goes with higher revs.

If its coming from behind the motor you could have damaged/cracked your flexplate, or it may be loose. This is the metal plate that connects between the engine and your AT torque converter. If its the torque converter bolts then you can get to them pretty easily. Anything else is a gearbox out

Assume auto as you mention "park mode", could be torque converter.
If manual, could simply be the dust boot around your shifter has come loose.
