    How hot would a engine get to do this to the det sensor

    That is a bloody good question, how hot ?

    Anyone with a spare det sensor and an IR thermometer and a frypan ?

    Do an old Castrol demo, video please, don't be shy someone must know a nice girl that wants to be a movie star.

    It might even end up in the tech section and a new way to maintain the tech section YouTube hosted videos. ;)

    Darwin clause, do it in a well ventilated space and avoid exposure to fumes and line pan with alfoil and do it when the wife is out.
