VIC Meet Toshi, Sunday 6th May

Toshi the road tune expert will be staying overnight at my place in Bendigo on Sunday 6th of May.
Anyone who can make it is very welcome to come along and meet the man, talk tech, and socialise a bit.
BBQ and drinks. Stay overnight if you like, plenty of room for guests.

Coincidentally, Heathcote Park Raceway is having a test & tune session for drag racing on that same Sunday.

Toshi will have road tuned my auto TT by the end of that day, he's doing RENZED's auto NA the next day.
We'll finish off with some dyno time for both Renee and myself later on the Monday.

For anyone who's been wondering about a Toshi road tune, here's a chance to do some closer research before committing

Hey Mick, put me down as a likely. Meant to be going away that weekend but it's looking unlikely at the moment.

 

Craig and I will pop over too Mick..since I probably need to get my ECU anyway, in order to drive over to your house to pick Toshi up on the Monday

Great to catch up again and thanks to Toshi for putting more ideas in my head.

 

Thanks Mick - had a great evening and good to meet some locals on the zed scene.. Learnt heaps from toshi in the short amount of time we had.

Also, never thought i'd catch up with an old work collegue - what a small town we live in..

Toshi is amazing, so knowledgable and enthusiastic. And he hates a beer too

We've learned a hell of a lot from him over the last coupla days and nights.
And he's here until Thursday as it turns out.

 

It's still a work in progress mate.

My tune went slightly tits-up because of boost controller issues.
Had to re-tune on a borrowed MBC and give up on the Gizzmo MS2 EBC on the day.
I reckon we've since figured out what was wrong with the EBC setup.
Short version, my Zed scares me again after Toshi has worked his magic.

Renee's tune got off to a late start due to an ECU or connector problem and a surprise coolant leak.
Then Toshi's main laptop failed, down near Malmsbury.
Toshi and Craig came back to Bendigo to fetch another laptop battery, then soldiered on into the night.

So far so good in spite of some setbacks. We're off to a dyno tomorrow morning.
