I quite haven't made my mind up about if this movie was good or not. However the general concensus in the theatre was of dissappointment. One guy even summed up his experience as i walked past him in the cinema and said "I stayed up till 3:00am for this Shit?!?!?" quiet loudly.Having said that, the special effects and fight sequences are bloody awesome and freaking amazing. the freeway chase is pretty cool, but that 100 agent smiths fighting neo in the courtyard is way cooler in my opinion. it looks so real.Besides all the great special effects and fights, the movie is weighed down by alot of philosophical BS about life and purpose. And i never did get that goosebumps feeling if i saw something cool on screen like i did in the first matrix.There are also some very dumb things in the matrix realoaded as well. Like the orgy/dance party or whatever the hell it is in Zion, i have no idea of the purpose of this was except to show that the Zionists are sex crazed.anyway, the special effects are very awesome and you should go and see the movie for that purpose alone i think, the dialogue isn't very entertaining.Also the ending is shit, i nearly flew to america to put my foot in the wachowski brothers arses for making such a lame ending.

Yeah, I agree.. ....the zion rave party was weird. For some reason it felt like a star trek movie at the beginning
Reloaded.... I think a lot of people that were dissappointed don't understand the story and the idea's behind it. Even with the first Matrix, each time I watched it I picked up something new...for instance, you'll notice that everything that's filmed in the 'matrix' world has a slight green tinge, to indicate something is not quite right, where as the real world has a slight blue tinge. This subconsciously sets up the difference between the two worlds. The story and plot is really deep, and it might go over a lot of people's heads, particularly as people are going mainly for the FX.
hey it was awesome! i didnt make sense at certain times (the ones u mentioned........but overall it was an excellent movie.......cant wait for part 3 to come out....
to me it was... ......but i cant say too much coz there will be other people watching it so cant give too much away, but yeah there will be a part 3. i dont think it will be crap, you have to see reloaded to get a picture of what part three is going to be about......
Who would've guesd Smith was Neo's Father ***WARNING MAY POSSIBLY SPOIL PARTS OF THE MOVIE, DO NOT READ IF HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE***What was wrong with the ending? I thought the ending in the first one left to many unanswered questions coz back then you didn't know it was going to be a trilogy. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but then again I am a huge fan of the Matrix. It was no where near as ground breaking as the first though. I'll need to watch it a few times to fully understand every part of the story, but that is the way the wachowsky bros. wanted it, so you could watch again and still come back from the movie with something different each time. That disco scene reminded me of Blade, and I also thought i was a bit out of place in the movie. All that 'purpose BS' is trying to explain the way a system works and why everything in a system has a purpose which set you up the with what the 'oracle', 'keymaster', etc actually are in the System (matrix).
Bah! You'll be back behind the wheel again.. ..one of these days, never know your luck, the next one might be one of the new ones=)
