Left Heritage park a little later than 11:45 for a midday meet at Marina Mirage a deadline that was never going to happen with an almost perfect day outside. Sun was up, clouds were down and the targa's were off. Just like my passenger after a heavy nights drinking. Arrived at Marina Mirage at 12:30 and sat down to lunch with a small bunch of the Z crew. K-zed, Red Turtle Z, Archon and his Plus 1. and Later Joined by Mr Pexzed! Enjoyed a very delicious Squid Salad with a poisonously attractive salsa sauce that twisted the tastebuds and left you wanting more. We went for a wander down along the Marina and checked out some of the cheap and nasty looking boats at an affordable $15Mil (pffft who'd ever want one of them ) My favorite part of the day came as we sat down for a nice chocolate endulgance of Belgian Waffles, Ice-cream, Strawberries and banana from Max Brenner I don't know about anyone else. But that was my heaven right there. The food was superb and very filling. Topped off with an Iced Chocolate Frappe to die for. Ahhh I wouldnt' have had it any other way. I got some photo's but have yet to upload them. A short drive down to the Spit before heading home and so ended another beautiful Sunday Zed event. Thanks guys n Girls I had a ball. I enjoyed my beef curry, very tasty indeed (just overloaded with beans..yuk) I'm having hte chicken next time ... it was a bit nervy for me walkin so close to those monster boats tho - too big for me...scarey even... Dessert - i agree - was absolutely to die for (almost) lol I'm still lookin for a waffle maker... Thanks for the day guys...
Well, I was riding PSA due to way too much champagne and wodka the night before... (beginning to think I may have a problem) Hehe! Decided to get fish n chips for lunch from the little cafe beside the restaurant we were at! Just to be different! LOL! Had a look at all the gorgeous boats. Thanks for that Rob! Made me realise how much I miss playing on them as my main form of transport at the Islands. I'm such a sucker for a nice boat after living there! Choccie for dessert... and after feeling nice and fat... decided to go and check out the usual suspects at the Spit. The day clouded over a bit too much for laying on the beach (which is what I had planned) but was still wonderful to look at all of the rice that had filled the spit. Hey Greg... you gonna go on the cruise the fully sick guy in the rexxie gave you the flyer for? All in all, had a great day. Always lovely to hang out with the old crew and relax over lunch.
