Hey everyone just in the process of tuning my ecu but im having trouble accessing the Ignition timing map. I tried to do the map trace through nissan datascan although it doesn't pick up anything, It just shows a blank screen. also since im doing it for a NA is there a difference as the datascan dosent show a NA option.. im pretty sure i did it along time ago but now it wont show anything.. is there anything i can do tried it with two different datascans 1.4 and 1.5 and everything else in the program works fine.. cheers James
Does the blank map still have a coloured area moving? I think you need to tell it to acquire the map first. Can't quite remember, but anyhow, get Ztalk. It's free and also has a live map trace. Or do you only want to do a ROM dump to see your ignition maps?
the map is blank no moving colours at all.. i tired ztalk but that only does fuel mapping doesnt it.. and i need the map live. i already have several maps of the ignition timing.. cheers james
