After removing the blue led's from behind my dash the other day, I got thinking (usually a bad thing). I threw one in the boot - Easy, direct swap to the blur led, looks pretty sweet, but I want to fot one in the passenger side too.

My other idea was for the map lights. The bulbs for those are smaller wedges than the 194's for the dash, but luckily the ones I got from Ebay have a plastic wedge. Out comes the dremel thingy (cheap knockoff) and delicately use one of the cutting discs to cut just on the inside of either wire (+ and -) up to the base of the assembally (containing the resistor).
The one on the left is cut away and the second one was heaps neater.

Then swap the bulbs out and - Voila!!!

    After:

    One of each:

And all because I'm too lazy to order some bulbs the right size!!!

Next plan (started) is to convert the interior main light assembally into 3 or 4 wedge sockets so all of my interior lights can be changed to blue leds.

i must say you did well, but they are usually stocked behind the counter, take out your original and take it down there and ask for them to match it up.They come in all colours and even in a multi changing colour led, which isnt my cup of tea,but the wife has it one her car

I found a cheap speakers box on ebay I put on the shelf behind the seats in the convertible. I wanted to see if I can get a bit better sound and I have not much space up my sleeve. Fits like a glove, and sounds ok for its size.

The box has blue leds in 4 of the speakers. Most annoying driving at night. Is that the cops or just another car behind me ? No, it's just the speakers shining bright blue.
