Decided to get my auto converted to a manual today with Tom at PZP - cant wait to drive her once all is said and done in a month or so :D

(Was either that or get my auto reconditioned as its F****D, has no 2nd gear goes straight from 1st to 3rd and full of metal pieces apparently in the sump).

Hope it will sit under the budget bracket. Get a heavy duty clutch at the same time. Clutch replacement can cost later 2.5k if you ask someone to do it.:)

Yeah it should be fine with the budget, relativly speaking recondition vs conversion is the same sort of price relativly speaking, so id rather pay more for something better / that i would enjoy :D sides Tom will look after me !

Glad you got your head screwed on, I built my auto for being lazy then later decided to convert anyway. 6 grand later

Must be pretty busy down at PZP  . A conversion can be done in 4 days!
    And I know. :D

I only got my auto becuause its all i had to practice in way back in the day and i had no need at all for my manual licence, now i need it for the police next year anyways so its win win.

Dont forget Tom has to not only get a free booking for me but to also source all the parts/kit for it hence the long wait, but all is good gives me time to save save save.

Man I wish there was a place here in Brissy that you could just take your zed to and ask for a manual conversion. Mine would be converted by now if that were the case!

Ive asked around and eveyone wants you to get the parts first and then they will do the work. I dont have the time to hunt around for all the parts thats why Im saying it would be awesome to just take your car in and they do all the hard yakka.

Ditto... I want to be able to give someone my car and pick it up after a while with everything done - including 1-piece driveshaft, heavy duty clutch and rear main seal replacement. If such a thing is possible, price would determine whether I'd get it done or have my auto rebuilt and modified.
