There has been a bit of discussion on jacks and ramps.

I was flicking through the auto barn catalogue and noticed 2 products that might interest you,

1: Car ramps for "lowered vehicles"

& 2: Aluminium race jack(its says 90mm when lowered, but not sure where the mearsurment is taken from)

I even uploaded an image from the catalogue for you.

Serious or joking? Instead of postage you could arrange collection from the nearest Auto Barn

I'll try to get some this week, my workshop is in another suburb and I don't go there that much. I made it out of some thick planks of wood with thicker bits screwed into the end. These then seat on the ramps. Sounds ghetto but they look ok and work fine

    750kg capacity

would that be combined or each ramp? If its combined its probably not strong enough for a ZED's front end.

easily strong enough to withstand any zed(1500kg all up). i could get them cheap for a group buy, would depend on alot of things. if ppl are serious let me know

A 2+2 Auto TT is near 1600kg and with the zed's weight distribution that would mean close to 900kg weight on the front wheels, this is why I question is 750KG capacity enough.

yer but jt its 750kg each ramp

So why is 900kg more than 1500kg? They are standard ramps. Ours is a standard car, wheres the problem?

I need some ramps for my car. Im keen.

    seconded

ramps would be a worthwhile investment..

    red32 You talkin' to me?

Any timber shop . . . 2 each 4'x4"x2" (fit in the "boot") lumps of timber laid part way up the ramps (any sort/style). No wukka's! Cheap, too!
Works for my stock Aus-spec and Baroo's UAS front-barred TT.
Mind you, those "Stanfred" ramps look the goods, but a bit pricey @ $169
