Can anyone out there give me some detailed info on the location of the fuel pump solenoid in an AUSTRALIAN COMPLIED anon - turbo (1995 ) Z-32, and how to actually access it ?

If you are referring to the fuel pump controller. The box is located behind the trim on the passenger side of the car. I'd suggest you search the service manual. Lots of information can be found there.

When you turn the ignition key on you should hear a click which is the fuel pump solenoid which supplies power to the fuel pump I do not detect the audible click and the pump is not pumping . Could be solenoid faulty or pump faulty but I suspect so
Enoid not supplying power to pump .Fuses are all OK so that eliminates a fuse problem.

The fuel pump relay is drivers kick panel area. Green relay next to the time control unit. I think you have to remove trim to see it.

The end of the EL section of the FSM shows locations of electrical units including the relays

Thanks N185. This is different to the previous post re the location however can you tell me if it is on the clutch pedal side or the accelerator side kick panel .Once I know this , I will find it no problem, but don’t want to tear the car apart searching for it . I don’t have a workshop manual . I have had a number of suggestions re its position, but believe you are “ on target “. There are so many Zs and it position varies from model to model .

    Accelerator pedal side

For FSM if you haven't found it, scroll to top of page. You will see Tech Section TAB next to the Forums TAB
Once opened TAB.. scroll down to "Factory Service manual down load only " link. Once downloaded , open PDF and click on the bookmark Electrical section and scroll to page EL112. :D

Hi to N 185. .I can’t thank you enough for the time and effort you have taken to give me the detail as to where to find it .I am not the most computer literate person around so this has helped me immensely ( I am 81 Years old ) and grew up outside the computer era that younger people were part of, but I do my best .Despite my age , I still love my Z.

I managed to get some time to follow your instructions on where to find reference to the actual position of the FUEL PUMP RELAY SWITCH. After locating page EL 112 it had information on what I think is the Cruise Control .
I am now more confused and no one can tell me where to locate the FUEL PUMP RELAY SWITCH within the car .

I would like to thank both you Rob, and Daniel for your perseverance in trying to help me .
My wife put up a z300 CD manual on the computer that I had here, thinking it was the same info, but it is
TOTALLY DIFFERENT in page numbers and content . I accept full responsibility for not checking that the info came from the manual that Daniel provided instructions for, and thanks Rob for posting the diagram . Now I can get on with chasing the problem.
It all gets back to ,” if in doubt follow the instuctions “
Once again, a huge THANK YOU for persevering with “ an old Z owner “
