Load and exhaust question

I have a restrictive muffler with the silencer in place.

It seems to make no difference in the first gear and starts to dull acceleration in 2nd and worse still in 3rd. Would this be because there's more exhaust being produced in the higher gears and this extra exhaust is because there's more load in the higher gears?
Assume I'm in WOT at all times into the redline.

The difference in power reduction is amplified when going uphill which surely increases the load on the engine.

I'm thinking more load = more exhaust, which makes my restriction in muffler more pronounced. So is there more load and more exhaust being produced in higher gears?

Taking off the silencer results in me getting headache, and I'm getting more resonators in next week.

And if I take out the silencer after I got a resonator (restriction), would this help the flow since the restriction is now closer to the engine, so the back of the exhaust has freer flow but the front of it has more restriction.
